History of the Church

The church was built as a Spiritualist Church in 1928 on land once used as a training ground for world war one soldiers and the building works were commissioned by our founder Hervy Carter ( see gallery for pictures of him and his wife Betty ) of which we have now named our downstairs community room after him, the main church being upstairs of which we hold a licence to perform weddings and also now have a licence for same sex marriages.

We can also hold memorial services and funeral services.
